Richard A. Semon

Mr. Semon's experience includes public and private sector employment related matters and litigation before the California Department of Industrial Relations, the DLSE, OSHA, EEOC, NLRB, and PERB administrative agencies. Mr. Semon has represented union employees of the City of Anaheim; the Orange County Sheriff's Department, Orange County Fire Authority, the Orange County Public Defenders' Office, John Wayne Airport, and other Orange County agencies regarding internal affairs investigations, disciplinary proceedings, grievances, and unfair labor practices. Mr. Semon has represented small and large private sector businesses regarding employment issues, including the creation and enforcement of employment policies and procedures.

Mr. Semon previously served as Senior Counsel to Corbis (a Bill Gates wholly owned intellectual property corporation), where Mr. Semon managed the creation, enforcement, and protection of Corbis' global intellectual property rights. Mr. Semon has substantial experience in intellectual property representation, and related litigation in Federal Court, the Trademark Trials and Appeals Board, and before the World Intellectual Property Organization.
